Include visual evidence and technical detail on their function and suitability for Advanced Manufacturing Technology. LO 2.2 The company is thinking of a long term expansion plan and require a detailed investigation and evaluation into a range of different manufacturing strategies which would be suitable for different volumes being produced, include in your investigation examples of the products that are manufactured by the different strategies Examples of the strategies are below Manufacturing strategies: high volume production techniques; transfer lines; flexible transfer lines, group technology (GT), FMS, FMC, low-volume and small, medium and large batch production techniques; one-off and prototype production.
