1. Sometimes people observe racial segregation and assume it is because of comfort and choice on the part of people of color, as opposed to any further barriers being erected by whites today. What evidence can you point to from this weeks reading module in housing and relationships that counters this “purely individual choice” argument? 2. After the late 1960s, (a) interracial marriage was no longer illegal in the U.S. nor was (b) nursing discrimination, or (c) school segregation.
