
The federal public policy I plan on researching is the production of male contraceptives that can decrease the rate of unwanted pregnancies across the United States for emerging adulthood. It is the responsibility of both male and female to implement contraceptives when participating in sex, the production of male contraceptives will encourage males to participate more in family planning and prevention of unwanted pregnancies.

Instructions: This assignment is designed to assess and critique current policy based on scientific research findings.
1. Identify a policy (e.g., education, health, public, social) that impacts adolescents and/or emerging adults. This policy can be at the city (e.g., local community, neighborhood, school), county, state, or federal level.
2. Identify two scientific/scholarly articles (published within the last 10 years) that are related to the policy topic*.
*The scholarly articles need to be related to the topic of your paper, but they SHOULD NOT explicitly reference (mention) the actual policy you have chosen.
3. Write an evaluation of how the public policy is in line with scientific research. This will include:
a. A description of the policy
b. A summary of each scholarly article (focused on the main findings and implications)
c. A comprehensive critique of how well the policy utilizes the findings and recommendations of scientific/scholarly research in real-world application.
Formatting: Your paper should be between 4-5 pages, double-spaced, with 1” margins and 11 or 12-pt. Arial of Times New Roman font.
