Developmental Activity/Intervention Evaluation
What will be your developmental activity/intervention to meet the needs of your findings in the needs assessment? This means that you will provide an outline of the developmental activity/intervention and any artifacts that will support or be used with it.
Introduction
Include a description of the developmental counseling activity/intervention that you have chosen to support your needs assessment, what it is designed to accomplish, who will be the participants, and the rationale behind the activity.
Literature Review
In your literature review provide your reasoning for the choice of the developmental activity/intervention
that you chose and how is supports your needs assessment. Summarize what you know about the issue being addressed and the delivery system used to address it.
Method
Include a description of the activity/intervention you would use and what you hope to find out by using
this method.
Evaluation
What indicators for success would you be looking for with the follow-up assessment. What changes from your pre and post assessment would you look for to evaluate how effective the activity/intervention was?
Who would you report this to? Based on the results that you would receive, how would you interpret how
well this activity accomplished its goal? How would you know this activity relates, directly or indirectly,
to increasing students’ academic success (as supported by your literature review, if possible)?
