Read Chapters 10, 12, and 16 from Trends and Issues in Instructional Design and Technology. You will then complete two Critical Thinking Questions from each chapter. You must cite at least two references in addition to the course text. How could an entrepreneur use the CIPP model to develop a business plan? Describe each of the four components and translate the steps to its utility in the private sector.
Using ideas presented in this chapter, construct your own evaluation model.
Recent research indicates that most companies conduct level 1 evaluations, and many conduct level 2 evaluations. However, organizations infrequently conduct evaluations at levels 3 and 4. Describe several possible reasons why companies conduct few evaluations at the higher levels, and explain how you would attempt to increase the use of level 3 and 4 evaluations.
Chapter 12 – Managing On-Site and Virtual Design Teams
How would you describe your leadership style? What are some ways that you naturally motivate people and build a sense of team? What aspects might you need to develop in order to improve your ability as a project manager? What are some activities you can engage in that would improve your interpersonal and leadership skills?

What are some costs and benefits to either strategy? Where might one approach make more sense than another?
