The FAM take-home exam case is now available on OWL within the course content tab. Your take-home exam submission is due by Saturday October 24 at 11:59pm ET via the Assignment Submissions (Turnitin) tab on OWL.
Ensure you follow ALL standardized formatting and exam instructions. Several practice-quizzes failed to observe the REQUIRED submission standards and would have been subject to heavy grade penalties. Pay attention and don’t throw away marks – carefully read and follow all exam rules and instructions.
The Financial Management Formatting Template is available on OWL within the course content tab. This document is set to spec and gives a general idea of how to organize and format your take-home exam. You’re welcome to modify and customize this template, or you can build your own. Either way, to avoid grade penalties, always ensure your take-home exam submission follows all standardized formatting requirements outlined in the exam rules i.e. you must have: ONLY 5 pages of text & ONLY 5 pages of exhibits, 12pt Times New Roman font, double-spaced, 1-inch margins, naming convention, etc.
Your entire exam, including text and exhibits, must be prepared individually, in your own words, without any input or assistance from anyone else. This rule will be actively monitored and aggressively enforced. Serious and lasting penalties will be issued to any student that violates this rule. Violation of this rule will be considered plagiarism which is a serious and punishable academic offense. Do not share your work in any way with anyone.
The take-home exam is designed to take four hours, but lecturers will not be timing you. You are responsible for managing your own time during the assessment period. The pre-recorded case videos, financial management study guide, and all other postings will remain on OWL.
