Assignment brief: Selecting a title from the ‘Required Reading’ list students will be required to write a paper that considers three aspects of that work.
Firstly, why is this graphic novel considered a ‘significant work’ in the field?
Secondly, what unique elements does this book bring to the medium of the graphic novel.
Thirdly, what has been the influence of this work both on the medium and broader popular culture.
